For tonight’s homework, click TUESDAY or READ MORE.

AP English III

THE GREAT GATSBY:

Please be ready to recover these points on the day of the Final, if you know you didn’t pass. Reading the book the way I taught you to read is the only way out. Focus on ambiguities you see in the text.

OTHER HOMEWORK:

  • A-E WordSmart vocabulary.
  • New WordSmart vocabulary, F-L, which will be tested starting in February (not ready yet; stay tuned). A-E WordSmart vocabulary we will begin testing soon using mini quizzes. Your Vocabulary ISN should include thinking maps for all the WordSmart terms A-E you don’t yet know from memory. That includes parts of speech! The new vocabulary list (E-L) is part of the link under English / Lanugage Arts Resources on the right-hand bar, the link that reads “AP English 3 Vocabulary.”

AP US History

TONIGHT’S HOMEWORK IN THE ISNs:

  • Use the new sub-blog for our ISN to do the American Colonies ISN AND U.S. History ISN work you’ll find at the bottom of the instructions for the 72-3 Grant #2 spread. The American Colonies ISN work will be on 188-9. I will be stamping both on Monday.

MULTIPLE CHOICE QUESTIONS: At the end of every chapter in the textbook.
